Banquet Nails :)

Hi everyone. So again, horrible title of the post, I know, I am just not that creative with names :/ Anyway, I'm going to a graduation banquet tonight so I thought I would do my nails :)

I started off with two effortless coats of Zoya Zuza (Which you can win in my giveaway!), and then afterwards I stamped over it. Yea, I know. Simple blah blah blah I seriously need some inspirationnn. I'm running out of ideas hahaha.

OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui

Suzi Says Feng Shui is my go-to polish. Whenever I don't know what to wear, I wear this.

The first picture is probably the most color accurate. That was taken in the shade, the rest show what it looks like in direct sunlight. It's gorgeous isn't it?? The rest of the photos are just a tad bit brighter than what it really is. As for the last picture... just same weird stamping that I did... wasn't that great, I was running out of polish :/

Suzi Says Feng  Shui is this amazing blue... It's not dark nor is it bright. I am not exactly sure what to call this shade... it has a little more black to it than your average cobalt blue. The formula on this was just like any other OPI creme, amazing. This is 2 coats pre top coat.

Oh Well...

So you know those times where you have a mani idea and it turns out amazing?? Well, this ISN'T one of those times. I looked through my stash and picked out a gorgeous purple and then picked out a stamp-able bright green. They looked amazing together. I then chose an image that I use quite frequently so I knew that I couldn't really mess it up. Ya... that didn't turn out very well... 

Yuck, I know :( So many things went wrong, for example; I had a gorgeous purple (Click HERE) on except it looked blueberry blue on the camera! I was lucky if I got a somewhat purple pic. Second of all, the stamp that I used, I can never remember the way I like to stamp it... well, I stamped it the wrong way. It looks super weird... Third, (this has happened to me before when using this color) I applied a topcoat after and then the bright green went mutant!! It turned into a weird, murky, military green!! Weird right?? Once, I used a gold, and the gold turned purple!! WTH? 

It seems like the past couple of weeks, all of my konadicures are fails. Well you know what?? That stops NOW!! Tomorrow I am going to try again and it's going to be awesome! 

What do you think think?? Do you agree that this is awful, or do you somehow like it??

I wore this look last week, so yup... the post is kind of late lol. I don't have my laptop at the moment so that's why there hasn't been anything new. I have been doing my nails like crazy though so once I get my laptop back I will start preparing posts so I will have some ready for when I don't have my laptop lol. (When I stay at my dads, that's when I have the laptop, when I am at my moms, like now, I go to the internet cafe and use one of their computers) Anyways, I had my dad send the photos to me via email because I didn't have any time to upload photos before I left for my moms. Probably some of the worst stamping I have ever done....

I really like this Konad and color combo, but sometimes my Sally Hansen Chrome Pen doesn't like to work. Overall I like it, but I would like it even more if the stamp was nice and sharp(: Oh well, at least it looks like I did this free hand ;)

For Audrey+M78

In real life, this mani looks a heck of a lot better. The stamp and the base color are darker... less washed out... Which brings me to the question; for some reason whenever I upload a photo (on a post) it always turns out looking extremely washed out. The original photo is perfect, it's color accurate and everything, and then when I upload it onto here, it looks normal at first, but then a second later it literally changes and then it gives me this crappy washed out photo! What the heck is up with that?? So then I have to go back to iPhoto and mess with the picture, so that when it downloads onto here, it is color accurate (which usually works, but as you can tell from the pictures above... this time it didn't :/) Anyways, I was wondering if this happens to anyone else?? If so, do you know a way to stop it?? Or is it always going to be like this lol.  

Also, I wanted to mention that I "updated" my swatch of For Audrey, I wasn't really happy with my original swatches, so yup... I took new photos. Anyways, if you would like to see that, click (HERE)

Green Leopard/Zebra TOTD

Today I have another TOTD (Thumb of the Day). Todays "excuse" for not having a full manicure was that I was just too lazy to do my whole hand lol.... BUT, I wanted to ask you, do you like my TOTD's?? Because usually, I just have plain manicures, so ya... kind of too boring to post about unless I need to swatch it, but this way, I can post more frequently :) Anyways, let me know what you think, do you want more TOTD?? Or is TOTD stupid lol... idk.... anyways, yup, please let me know what you think :)

Blue skies and Green Butterflies

 So today I did my nails and I used this GORGEOUS sky blue. It was so pretty that I just couldn't get myself to put a full nail design on it but I did add little butterflies. In other news, I am SOOOOO happy to announce that I have 40 subscribers!! I am SOOOO happy :) Anyway, here is the picture:

 Even though it is super simple I really like it :)  I'll have a full swatch of this color once my nails get a little bit longer :) If your wondering why there is a little pink dot on my thumb, I think I might have forgot to clean the stamper before I used it... Oh, and the reason why my nails are so short is because they decided to break on me :( Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by :)

Teal and Green Design

Today I have another mani to show you!! This one kind of reminds me of a water marble, anyway's here's the pic:
I have decided that I like having grass in the backround, so I am going to start taking the "finished" picture out on the grass. I liked this one because I loved the way the light was shining through

 Just a little something on the Konad Topcoat...
Ok, I really DISLIKE the Konad Topcoat :( Yes, it doesn't smear your design but it NEVER DRIES!! Even when it is "dry" all of the sudden you smudge it!!! It is so irritating... I borrowed it from my friend because I wanted to try it out... I am so sad :( WHY KONAD, WHY!!!!!!! Anyway, if I had to choose, I would say Seche Vite instead of the actual Konad Topcoat... But that is just what I think, please tell me your thoughts, thanks!! :)

Bling Dynasty+M78

Today I have another "old" konadicure. Meaning, I did this one a while ago and I just happened to take a picture of it. Anyway, my gold polish was brand new so I wanted to try it. Here is what it looks like :)
