Zoya Shawn

Shawn has been a lemming of mine ever since I started blogging. Well, I finally killed that lemming(:

First of all, I wanted to say that this is not at all what I thought Shawn would look like. I thought it would be a lot lighter and more lime colored...based on some swatch pictures I saw. It's still pretty though :)

Shawn is a camouflage/army green with some yellow (mustard) undertones. So pretty (and unique in my collection).  The formula and dry time of this was excellent and it was very opaque. I want to test it out... see if it works for stamping... Shawn dries super shiny so I don't know why I bothered with a topcoat... which I actually regret because I am using my stupid little OPI mini bottle topcoat because I ran out of my NYC Quick Dry.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on Shawn?? It's a win in my book:)

Zoya Crystal

This polish is seriously amazing.

Crystal is a shimmery/glittery medium cornflower blue with gold glitters. So pretty!! It's really sheer on the first coat but it builds up nicely. Dry time was fast on the first coat but after three coats it slows down. It dries a tad bit gritty but nothing a coat of top coat can't fix :)

I loved Crystal so much! I can't wait to try my other Zoyas!! If you want to see what other ones I got, click (HERE).

Some Awards:)

Hi everyone!! So today I have two awards to show you. First I received the "Versatile Blogger Award" a loooong time ago from Jewels and Nails and I got it from All That Is Gorgeous. I meant to do that one right away, but I was so busy at the time, I just never had time to do it. The second one I received from the lovely Minnie over at Mini Nail Blog.  She gave me the "One Lovely Blog Award". Thank you ladies!! I am really flattered(:

**EDIT** Minnie also gave me the Versatile Blogger Award as well. Thanks!!

Rules:

2) Tell seven things about yourself
3) Give the award to 10 bloggers

Rules:

Ok, since the rules of both awards of similar, I am just going to jumble them together(: Starting with seven facts.... hmmm....

OPI Steady As She Rose

I know your probably sick of hearing about the Pirates collection, but last time I featured this color, I took photos too late in the day to be color accurate, so I decided to swatch it today(:

OH.MY.GAWD. So pretty. Steady As She Rose is a soft pink/nude color. It's a little less pink in real life than in the photos. The formula on this was a lot better than Mermaid Tears. Dry time was average.

If you want to see what I stamped over it when it was featured last week, click (HERE).

Thanks so much for reading(:

China Glaze IDK

Remember when I mentioned last week that Keani and I both bought China Glaze holo's? Well, this is the one she got(:

First of all, these photos do it no justice. It's about 10x more holo IRL. Second of all, excuse the nasty bubbling. My nails are a little stained so I decided to use a base coat and for some reason it bubbled :/

IDK is a light-ish purple linear holo. I don't really care for it indoors, but when it hits the sun, BAM! Gorgeous-ness. This is 2 coats.

Afterwards, I stamped a houndstooth design on the thumbs. I was going to do all my nails but then I got lazy and then sun went away so I am probably going to do it tomorrow:) I'll show pics if you want.

Fun Pink and Purple Stamping :)

I was originally going to post swatch pictures of Steady as She Rose but since they were taken later in the day, they weren't color accurate at all... It looked like it was a nude when it's actually a soft pink. Anyway, I am just going to show the stamped pictures which for some reason... are a lot more color accurate. lol.

Please excuse the bubbling... I really need to get a new bottle of top coat. Also, the stamping is much more vibrant/opaque in real life. And yes, I did file down my nails again. They were getting too long... I started to scratch myself :/ Anyway, I really love the way this turned out, let me know what you think :)

China Glaze 2Nite

Walking to the bowling alley, my friend, Keani, discovered this little nail salon that had a bunch of China Glaze polishes in the window... that's when I spotted it.... China Glaze IDK. "But Kelly, the title says China Glaze 2Nite." Long story short, Keani ended up buying IDK and I bought 2Nite. Prepare yourself for a pic heavy post filled with holo awesome-ness!!!!

Oh.My.Gosh. Like seriously, when I went outside to take pictures I literally shrieked of excitement. Also, if your wondering, this baby only cost me $8! YAY! One lemming crossed off on my wishlist:)

2Nite is this stunning periwinkle linear holo. Dry time was lightning speed. This is 3 coats, no topcoat.

I asked the lady if she had DV8 but sadly, she just sold the last bottle :( She did write down my name and number just in case she happened to get more in. Crossing my fingers!!

Do you own any polishes from the OMG! collection?? What are your thoughts on this one?? :)

Green Ocean Waves

Hi everyone!! Quick post today(: Started off with two coats of Jade Is The New Black and then thought it would look cute with this ocean/wave looking stamp... When I was in first grade everybody drew beach waves similar to this lol... anyway, let me know if you like it! :)

Overall, I like this but I don't love it... I think it looks a little flat. I seriously need to get some chrome/colored stamping polishes....
