TGIF: Earthy Aqua Gradient

Thank God it's Friday everyone! This week has absolutely been so very hectic for me, with school and tennis, and I'm still trying to balance everything out!

I started off two dreamy coats of Earthy Angel, and then sponged on Bettina Aqua, and then a little bit of Zoya Zuza. Afterwards I stampeded over it using Silver Sweep... You can't see it IRL, but Aqua actually turned the stamping gold, so on top is silver and on the bottom is gold... It looks cool.

Oh... And the photos look a lil bit weird because I am using a new camera and I'm trying to find out how to use it, lol.

Thoughts??

Cotton Candy Gradient

Hellooooo. So. Slowly easing myself into blogging. Hopefully once I start school again my schedule will be more... Sorted out. Right now I wake up at like 9:00-10:00 and stay in my pajama's unless I have like three hours of tennis or going somewhere with my friends.

I started off with Pink Friday from the Nicki Minaj collection. I am not of a pink wearer so I actually haven't tried it (but I've dabbled a bit with it) until now. I was originally going to add the blue right away but I was in a hurry and left it pink-- Which I ended up loving for some reason-- for a couple days before adding the rest of the nail art.

I started off with two coats of Pink Friday which is your average light/medium pink Creme. Nothing to special, but for some reason I liked it (excuse bubbling on ring finger i was in a hurry). I then sponged on a bit of For Audrey and then stamped over it using a silver polish. It's sort of hard to tell, but the design is sort of a fish scale look... Not sure. A girl from my tennis class said it looked like mountains. Haha. The image was on a french tip plate so I did have to stamp it twice.

Anyway, I hoped you liked it and be sure to let me know what you think! xx

Happy Late Blog-O-Versary!

Hi everyone! So... My blog-o-versary was on July 25 and I forgot.... So... Enjoy this late post :)

I was hoping it would be a little bit more pink, it looks a bit orange, but I'm still happy with the outcome :)

Hope you all have a lovely day, I'm off to tennis now! xx

Rainbow and Roses

Hi everyone! Quick post today! So exhausted... Long day today. I went walking for like a mile today with my friend, then walked a mile to get to the tennis courts, and then played three hours of tennis in the brutal heat. And then I had to make myself dinner, and now I am baking cookies. I can finally sit down! Going to eat my cookies, rest my feet, and enjoy an episode of Bunheads.

I was feeling fun today.. Not entirely crazy about it but I seriously need to post something :/

Anyway, enjoy, and I hope you all have a wonderful day/night xx

Thank You Everyone!

Hi! So.... I haven't been on my blog in a while. I seriously think I am the worst blogger in the world. After I started my giveaway I wasn't feeling inspired and then my nails broke and I wanted them to grow out, but I wasn't using nail polish and that failed because I kept on chewing them (ew) and up until two weeks ago I started using polish again. So yea, my nails are at a nice length right now and I am going to really try and keep them this way! :)

Just because of personal reasons, I'm not going to post as much as I used to (back when I actually posted) but I am going to make up for it by posting a really cool manicure or something, just because sometimes I just like a plain color on my tips but most likely I've already swatched it for you guys so yea... Boring. But I am going to try and put more thought into my manicures for you so it makes up for me being a horrible blogger.

And on top of that, I'm super busy. I do tennis lessons through out the week, Youth Nights, social life, and after summer is over, I am starting school again. But I am really trying to figure out how to balance everything out because I legit love blogging :)

In other news, I was on my Twitter the other day, and I realized that I am so behind in the blogging world :/ I've pretty much dedicated all of my time lately to One Direction. It's actually quite sad.

So far I have two ideas that I am really excited to try out for my next mani! I have a fourth of July mani idea that I have NEVER tried before so I'm anxious to start on that, and then I have this fun skittle-esque idea that I want to try.

As far as my giveaway goes, IT'S FINISHED! Thank you so much to everyone who entered and GOOD LUCK! I will be going through the list this week and post the winners hopefully on Wednesday, or Thursday, and then try and send it out by Next Monday.

OH! And I am almost up to 700 followers! Y'ALL ARE AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU.

k... That's about it.  Bai <3

Banquet Nails :)

Hi everyone. So again, horrible title of the post, I know, I am just not that creative with names :/ Anyway, I'm going to a graduation banquet tonight so I thought I would do my nails :)

I started off with two effortless coats of Zoya Zuza (Which you can win in my giveaway!), and then afterwards I stamped over it. Yea, I know. Simple blah blah blah I seriously need some inspirationnn. I'm running out of ideas hahaha.

Anyway, that's it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to let me know what you think :D

Readers Request: Skittles!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! So this isn't technically a readers request, but I was lacking inspiration and I went on Twitter and one of my Twitter lovelies suggested a skittle manicure :) I don't think I have ever done one so I decided to go ahead and do it!

Relatively simple but I really like it :) Oh, and yes, the nubs are back.

In other news, so sorry I haven't been posting much! School is absolutely crazy (dang Biology is killing me MAN!) but Summer break is coming up in a couple days so YEAAAAA. Also, I am also semi grieving. Le beautiful Zayn Malik is officially taken by Perrie Edwards. *le cries* I am so happy for him and I really like her (I'm a Little Mixer as well) but at the same time I am really sad hahahah... Not sure why exactly seeing as I have 0% chance of getting with him but..  I'm lame >.> oh, and yes... I'm a Directioner. A very dedicated one at that. LMAO, you probably think I'm crazy. I'm curious to see if I am the only directioner in the nail blogging world (Almost typed 'Niall' in stead of 'nail')... I'm in a very silly mood right now... In case you couldn't tell haha... *Sigh* Zayn Malik... Oh, and FYI, it's pronounced 'Malick' not 'Maleek'. I have heard so many people say that and it's bugging me hahah.

Anywho, I might do some striped nails later this week inspired by Louis Tomlinson's signature striped shirt... Or something else related to 1D... But I'll make it awesome enough so if your not a One Direction fan (*gasp*) you'll enjoy them nonetheless!

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :D

Hi everyone! Been super busy lately with school and everything that I haven't been able to do my nails and such :) I actually painted my nails today during English... But anyway. I know it's super simple but... Yea. I was going to stamp over it but I really liked the color combo so I decided to leave it! I will have something wayyy better and something with more thought put into it later this week. I promise!

Thanks so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think!

Bettina Hustle

Hi everyone! So I finally cut down my nails :) They were getting a bit too long for my liking and I started having a hard time typing... but anyway. Today I get to show you this gorgeous color from Bettina's Disco Collection!

Hustle is packed with blue glassflecks. Reminds me of OPI Austintatious Turquoise but I'm not sure if they are actually that similar... I'll have to check. It's a blue with a lot of green undertones and it has a slight purple and maybe even lime green duo-chrome, but it wasn't that visible on the nail. Perhaps next time I shall layer it over black and see what happens :) The formula is a little watery so the first coat was very sheer but it builds up, and dry time was fast. Overall a very gorgeous color, and it's kind of a chameleon. Sometimes it's hard whether to say it's blue or green... but most of the time it's blue, haha. I love it! This was three coats.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :)

Zoya Zuza+Summer Stamping!

Hi! So today I have the gorgeous Zoya Zuza to show you :)

I started off with two buttery smooth coats of Zoya Zuza. It's sort of hard to describe the color... It's a little bit more green IRL, and it's about 10x more stunning IRL as well... It's sort of an... Aqua sea green (OMG I suck at describing things), packed with gorgeous silver/gold shimmer... Like... In the bottle is looks silver but on the nail it looks more on the gold/yellow side... Maybe it's a warm silver? I don't know... It's gorgeous though!

Afterwards I decided to use this one stamp again because I loved it so much last time! And then afterwards I dotted the center with a bright coral color.

In other news my giveaway is up! Finally, right? Anyway be sure to go check it out I have it linked in the top right hand corner :)

Thanks so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think!

Posh for Polish 500+ Follower Giveaway! (CLOSED)

Hi everyone! So I know I am about 50 followers late but it's finally here! It's time for my giveaway! If your wondering why the heck it took me so long, I live on a tiny island and it's hard for me to find good prizes. Well... That and I sort of spent all of my extra money on Oahu but... yea. I also wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone who supports my blog! Your all amazing and I absolutely love getting your comments, tweets, anything! You girls are literally the reason I run this blog so without you there would be no blog, haha. Onto the prize!

So there will be one winner! :) That person will receive Revlon Whimsical (DL Glitter In The Air Dupe), Revlon Popular (Previously Revlon Starry Pink), Sephora by OPI Too Too (I got that on Oahu, I liked the packaging), Zoya Arizona, and Zoya Zuza. So yup, five polishes in total!

You must be a follower of this blog. New followers welcome! Just click the "follow" box to the side of this post!

For shipping reasons this giveaway is for US followers only. So sorry guys! I have heard horror stories about international shipping, whether it be the crazy prices, or the packages not getting there because your "not supposed to send nail polish" or something like that so I just don't want to risk it. So yea, so sorry! :(

This giveaway will end on June 30 (2012). So yea! Just fill out the little box below and may the odds be ever in your favor! :P (LOL, major Hunger Games fan... Just had to throw that in there)

Sponged Leopard

Hi! So I wanted to do something colorful and fun today :) I think I saw this over on Chalk Board Nails but I'm not sure... But yea, I remember seeing this somewhere and I thought it would be to try and replicate :)

I started off with one thin coat of Bettina Clouds, and then using a cosmetic sponge I sponged on the different colors. Afterwards I stamped a leopard print using a white polish.

I don't think this turned out that great but I still like it :)

Thanks so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :)

NOTD: Tuesday!

Hi. The bad post title strikes again. Anywho, quick NOTD. Not much to say about it so I'm just going to get strait to the photo :)

I was planning on doing something with a little bit more effort but for some reason whenever I put this color on I love it so much I don't want to cover it up.

Sephora by OPI Duo: I'm Wired+Wired About Shimmer

Hi everyone! So while I was on Oahu, I walked into Sephora and I immediately went towards the nail polish. Did you know they sell Julep now? Anyway, I really wanted to get something and then I saw this duo and snatched it right up! I got it for three reasons; 1) I love mini's, 2) The packaging was cute, 3) I have been really wanted a coral lately along with a layering shimmery color.

I'm Wired is a gorgeous coral color that is uber bright. It actually is almost like a very hot pink. The formula was nice, but nothing spectacular about it. Dry time was fast. I honestly love this color so much, it's so great for summer! I'm going to be sad when it runs out :( Like seriously... I don't know why but I just love love love love love it! This is two coats but I could have done a third. I think next time I am going to layer it over white though, just so I can not use as much :)

Wired About Shimmer is the sparkly top coat that comes in the little box. It's clear but packed with tiny micro flecks that flash gold. So pretty, reminds me of China Glaze White Cap. Very sheer, definitely meant for layering. Application was nice and even. I only used one coat. Dry time was fast.

After I layered it over the coral, it sort of turned the color into a... slight orange tint... Cantaloupe color perhaps? IDK, still super gorgeous. LOVE LOVE LOVE <3

So overall I am absolutely in love with this combo! I got the little duo at Sephora for about $10. There are probably dupes out there but if you ever see it I would say get it! :)

Thanks so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think :)

OPI Did It On 'Em

Hi! So it's Monday... And it's been kind of a crappy morning >.> I woke up with a sore throat :( Anyway, I decided to do my nails. Hope you like!

I started off with two coats of OPI Did It On 'Em. Interesting color... I like it though. It's one shade lighter than OPI Who The Shrek Are You, or at least in the bottle. Let me know if you want a comparison :) Formula was similar to WTSAY, meaning, it was kind of patchy and stuff, I needed three coats to even everything out. Dry time was a little on the slower side. But besides all that I really do like the color :)

Afterwards I sponged on a blue color and the stamped over it. LOL. Another gradient... I don't know why but I love doing them. I'll have something different for my next mani, I promise, haha :)

Thanks so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :)

NOTD: Another Gradient+Stamping

Hi! So, ignore the horrid title of the post ^ I suck at making names... Like seriously. I think the hardest part of blogging, for me, would be thinking of a title for the post >.> Anyway, so I sat down in my little polish station today, with not the slightest idea of what I was going to put on my nails. After like 10 minutes of staring at my polishes, I thought it would be a fun idea to try a white fading into gold shimmer. Afterwards I decided to stamp over it.

YIKES! I know, lots of photos, but I couldn't decide which ones I liked better. I started off with two buttery smooth coats of Bettina Clouds, and then afterwards I sponged on OPI Rising Star, Take The Stage!, Warm and Fozzie, and then afterwards I applied one thin coat of Sephora by OPI Wired About Shimmer. And then to finish it off, I stamped on a fun image using Konad Black SP.

I personally loved the way this turned out, what about you? Be sure to leave me a comment letting me know!

(Late) Easter Mani!

Hi everyone! Happy Late Easter! I meant to post this yesterday but it was so hectic and busy that I didn't have any time, but hey, better late then never, right?

This was inspired by decorated pastel Easter eggs! I thought of it the other day and I thought it would be really fun to do :) All of the designs/dots were made with a small dotting tool :)

What did you wear on Easter?

OPI Gradient!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog! I wanted to quickly thank everyone who participated in my poll :) But I also wanted to say that I'm super stupid because the summer collection is already out... I guess I should have checked before I started the poll, haha. I felt like an idiot once I went on the website. Anyway, I'll order the polishes sometime this week! Thanks for being patient! Ok, enough blabbering, onto the photos!

I started off with two flawless coats of OPI Fly, a gorgeous... Teal (?) color. Like honestly, it's so pretty. It's a little bit more green than in the photo's though. Afterwards I sponged on OPI Dim Sum Plum.

Oh, and I know I have like three pictures but here is a picture my dad took of my nails at Queen's Bath on some lava rocks. Ignore my ugly wrinkly fingers, haha.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :D

Revlon Minted+Stamping

Hi everyone! Quick post today! And then I'm off to a birthday party.

I started off with two coats of a mint color and then stamped on a cool pattern using a silver. It kind of looks like 'perfect crackling'. I really like this... very Spring-y :)

In other news be sure to vote in my poll. Thanks so much for reading and let me know what you think :)
