Sponged Leopard

Hi! So I wanted to do something colorful and fun today :) I think I saw this over on Chalk Board Nails but I'm not sure... But yea, I remember seeing this somewhere and I thought it would be to try and replicate :)

I started off with one thin coat of Bettina Clouds, and then using a cosmetic sponge I sponged on the different colors. Afterwards I stamped a leopard print using a white polish.

I don't think this turned out that great but I still like it :)

Thanks so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :)

NOTD: Tuesday!

Hi. The bad post title strikes again. Anywho, quick NOTD. Not much to say about it so I'm just going to get strait to the photo :)

I was planning on doing something with a little bit more effort but for some reason whenever I put this color on I love it so much I don't want to cover it up.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :)

Sephora by OPI Duo: I'm Wired+Wired About Shimmer

Hi everyone! So while I was on Oahu, I walked into Sephora and I immediately went towards the nail polish. Did you know they sell Julep now? Anyway, I really wanted to get something and then I saw this duo and snatched it right up! I got it for three reasons; 1) I love mini's, 2) The packaging was cute, 3) I have been really wanted a coral lately along with a layering shimmery color.

I'm Wired is a gorgeous coral color that is uber bright. It actually is almost like a very hot pink. The formula was nice, but nothing spectacular about it. Dry time was fast. I honestly love this color so much, it's so great for summer! I'm going to be sad when it runs out :( Like seriously... I don't know why but I just love love love love love it! This is two coats but I could have done a third. I think next time I am going to layer it over white though, just so I can not use as much :)

Wired About Shimmer is the sparkly top coat that comes in the little box. It's clear but packed with tiny micro flecks that flash gold. So pretty, reminds me of China Glaze White Cap. Very sheer, definitely meant for layering. Application was nice and even. I only used one coat. Dry time was fast.

After I layered it over the coral, it sort of turned the color into a... slight orange tint... Cantaloupe color perhaps? IDK, still super gorgeous. LOVE LOVE LOVE <3

So overall I am absolutely in love with this combo! I got the little duo at Sephora for about $10. There are probably dupes out there but if you ever see it I would say get it! :)

Thanks so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think :)

OPI Did It On 'Em

Hi! So it's Monday... And it's been kind of a crappy morning >.> I woke up with a sore throat :( Anyway, I decided to do my nails. Hope you like!

I started off with two coats of OPI Did It On 'Em. Interesting color... I like it though. It's one shade lighter than OPI Who The Shrek Are You, or at least in the bottle. Let me know if you want a comparison :) Formula was similar to WTSAY, meaning, it was kind of patchy and stuff, I needed three coats to even everything out. Dry time was a little on the slower side. But besides all that I really do like the color :)

Afterwards I sponged on a blue color and the stamped over it. LOL. Another gradient... I don't know why but I love doing them. I'll have something different for my next mani, I promise, haha :)

Thanks so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :)

NOTD: Another Gradient+Stamping

Hi! So, ignore the horrid title of the post ^ I suck at making names... Like seriously. I think the hardest part of blogging, for me, would be thinking of a title for the post >.> Anyway, so I sat down in my little polish station today, with not the slightest idea of what I was going to put on my nails. After like 10 minutes of staring at my polishes, I thought it would be a fun idea to try a white fading into gold shimmer. Afterwards I decided to stamp over it.

YIKES! I know, lots of photos, but I couldn't decide which ones I liked better. I started off with two buttery smooth coats of Bettina Clouds, and then afterwards I sponged on OPI Rising Star, Take The Stage!, Warm and Fozzie, and then afterwards I applied one thin coat of Sephora by OPI Wired About Shimmer. And then to finish it off, I stamped on a fun image using Konad Black SP.

I personally loved the way this turned out, what about you? Be sure to leave me a comment letting me know!

(Late) Easter Mani!

Hi everyone! Happy Late Easter! I meant to post this yesterday but it was so hectic and busy that I didn't have any time, but hey, better late then never, right?

This was inspired by decorated pastel Easter eggs! I thought of it the other day and I thought it would be really fun to do :) All of the designs/dots were made with a small dotting tool :)

What did you wear on Easter?

Thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think!

OPI Gradient!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog! I wanted to quickly thank everyone who participated in my poll :) But I also wanted to say that I'm super stupid because the summer collection is already out... I guess I should have checked before I started the poll, haha. I felt like an idiot once I went on the website. Anyway, I'll order the polishes sometime this week! Thanks for being patient! Ok, enough blabbering, onto the photos!

I started off with two flawless coats of OPI Fly, a gorgeous... Teal (?) color. Like honestly, it's so pretty. It's a little bit more green than in the photo's though. Afterwards I sponged on OPI Dim Sum Plum.

Oh, and I know I have like three pictures but here is a picture my dad took of my nails at Queen's Bath on some lava rocks. Ignore my ugly wrinkly fingers, haha.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and be sure to let me know what you think! :D

xoxo

Revlon Minted+Stamping

Hi everyone! Quick post today! And then I'm off to a birthday party.

I started off with two coats of a mint color and then stamped on a cool pattern using a silver. It kind of looks like 'perfect crackling'. I really like this... very Spring-y :)

In other news be sure to vote in my poll. Thanks so much for reading and let me know what you think :)
