Mellow Yellow and M64

So today I am going to try a new "setup". Instead of doing the super long (obvious) tutorials, I have decided to just post a pic and tell you what I used. Anyway, if you like this way better than the tutorial way, be sure to let me know :) Anyway, this is a konadicure that I did last Thursday on my friend's hands. So yup, basically every Thursday she comes over to get her nails done. This is what last weeks looked like:

  • Base Color: Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
  • Konad Color: Green SP

The surprise....
I got the regular bottle of the Seche Vite Topcoat!!
When my friend went to go and get her toenails done at a salon (she got her toes done in Yodel Me On your Cell by OPI, the one from the new Swiss Collection, SO PRETTY!!),  she found a bottle of Seche Vite!! She was nice enough to get me a bottle :) I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!! I literally started freaking out when she showed me!! So now I know they sell it on island!! YAY!! :) Here is the pic of  the most beautiful thing in the nail polish world

Green Fishnet and Flowers

I have never used the fishnet design on M57 before so I wanted to try it out. My friend let me borrow her Green Konad Special polish, so of course I wanted to use that too. I thought I might try a green on green design so that's what I did, it looked a little bland so I wanted to add something, I have NEVER used anything on my M25 plate, so I added these cool flowers to the nail (actually, I have only used 1 thing from M25, and that is that one design that goes over your whole nail... kinda..) Here is what it looks like:

I think it turned out pretty good, I mean, my dad said he liked it!! He has never said anything about my nails before lol
  • Base Color: Konad RP Pastel Green (RP= Regular Polish)
  • Konad Color: Green SP
  • IP: M25, M57

Teal and Green Design

Today I have another mani to show you!! This one kind of reminds me of a water marble, anyway's here's the pic:
I have decided that I like having grass in the backround, so I am going to start taking the "finished" picture out on the grass. I liked this one because I loved the way the light was shining through

  • Base Color: Sally Hansen the Real Teal
  • Konad Color: Pure Ice Wild Thing
  • IP: M78

Just a little something on the Konad Topcoat...
Ok, I really DISLIKE the Konad Topcoat :( Yes, it doesn't smear your design but it NEVER DRIES!! Even when it is "dry" all of the sudden you smudge it!!! It is so irritating... I borrowed it from my friend because I wanted to try it out... I am so sad :( WHY KONAD, WHY!!!!!!! Anyway, if I had to choose, I would say Seche Vite instead of the actual Konad Topcoat... But that is just what I think, please tell me your thoughts, thanks!! :)

Sunflower Manicure

Today I did my friends nails and I think they turned out pretty good!! What I am really excited about is that we used a China Glaze nail polish!! Ok, so my friend was at the fair and she came across a booth that was selling old China Glaze and OPI polishes for only $3.50!! How cool is that?? Anyway, here is finished manicure:

So I call this my Sunflower Manicure, I like it :) It's really simple to do, also, I tried taking the pic under the usual white backround but every single picture turned out horrible :( Then, I took a pic on the grass (for my personal FB page) and it looked pretty good.

  • Base Color: Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
  • Konad Color: China Glaze Divine Insparation
  • IP: M74
After I finished her nails we went for a bike ride and were going over the bridge, I made her stop so I could take a picture, man it was beautiful :)

Those little silver things are dead Tuna fish someone threw (I have no idea why lol)
That large one... has no body.. that is just the head. My friend and I, NONSTOP LAUGHING!!

What a beautiful day in Hawaii :)

Wild Thing

This bright green beauty is Wild Thing.

WOW, the. brightest. green. you. have. ever. seen.
It actually amazed me how bright it is :p The application was very good, it was also opaque in 2 coats. The only problem is that it stains your nails, when using this you HAVE to use a base coat (unless you don't mind yellow nails lol) Overall, I really like this color and I think it is worth checking out(:
