Flower to Flower+M64

For Christmas I got my friend two OPI polishes, and one of them was OPI Flower to Flower (which I think was from the Summer Flutter collection...) My friend wanted a floral design so she chose the flower image from the plate M64. Since I am kind of into rhinestones right now, I added 1 rhinestone to each of her thumbs and ring fingers ^_^

Couldn't decide which picture to post so I decided to post both of them :P
Happy New Year everyone!!

Revlon Minted+NOTD

Probably my most favorite mint green polish is Revlon's Minted

NOTD... simple, I know :P

Minted is a GORGEOUS mint/pastel green. The application was extremely patchy on the first coat, got better on the second, and perfect on the third. Dry time is fairly fast. I also wanted to mention that I got the rhinestones from a CVS store. Oh, and Minted is a tad bit more green.

Do you own Minted?

New Polishes+Swatch: The Show Must Go On!

Hi everyone, these are the new nail polishes that I got for Christmas :)

Revlon Minted

 OPI Little Teasers (Burlesque Collection)

Here is a swatch of "The Show Must Go On!"

Isn't it gorgeous?? The Show Must Go On! a very pretty... red-ish pink/coral/orang-y color (If that makes sense lol). It's very duochrome-y. Think Mac Bad Fairy.... except lighter. Anyways, this polish is absolutely stunning, definitely worth checking out :) Well, those are the polishes I got for Christmas, did you get any nail polish??

P.S. I redid my nail polish collection tab, so be sure to check that out :)

For Audrey+Cute Flower Design

Hi everyone :) Even though it is Christmas eve, I don't have a Christmas mani to show you. However, I do get to show you this super cute flower design :) (This is not on my nails at the moment BTW, I did this last week)

As you can see, my index finger is really short now :/ I am hoping to get Nail Envy by OPI for Christmas though, that should help with strengthening my nails so they don't break. Anyways, for my Christmas manicure, I am using Orly's Meet Me Under the Mistletoe, just painted, no Konad. Well, that's it for today, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! :)

Floral Mani

Hi everyone, tonight I am going mini golfing and I wanted to have my nails all nice and painted, this is what I came up with :) I think it turned out nice. Also, the design on every finger except my ring finger, is from this little Konad plate that has no name, it's just a plate with 4 designs on it, and I got it in this little kit. Anyways, just wanted to let you know :)

Abstract Snowflake

Hi everyone :) Lately I have been playing around with free hand nail art, and this is what I came up with today:

The reason why I am only showing you the thumb is because the snowflake on my other fingers are really tiny because my nails are still so friggin (excuse my french) short  >:( Anyways, overall I kind of like it, what do you think??

P.S. If you want to see my whole hand, just let me know and I'll upload a picture

Review: Hard Candy Matte Topcoat

Hi everyone :) Today I have a review of the matte topcoat by Hard Candy (Matte-ly in Love)

I also have some swatches to show you :) I chose a cream and shimmer/glass fleck/duo-chrome finish so you could see how the matte topcoat looks on different finishes:

Matte Topcoat: Index and ring finger

Matte Topcoat: Index and ring finger

Matte Topcoat: Index and ring finger

Matte Topcoat: Index and ring finger

First of all, I want to say that this was the first matte top coat I have ever tried, so I can't compare it to Matte Magic by China Glaze, or Matte About You by Essie. I do want to say that I had a wonderful experience with this polish, almost immediately you could see the change, it dried really fast, and it truly dried matte, not satin or "plastic" :) The price was really good too, I got it for $4 at Walmart.  Bottom line, for an affordable price, you can get a good quality matte topcoat, that has good application and formula (the brush was decent too), it doesn't smear your Konad (as long as you use a generous amount), and the packaging is super cute. So ya, I definitely recommend it :)

Candy Cane Nails

Hi everyone :) Yesterday I decided to paint my nails in a candy cane design. Not sure how I feel about these yet...

The thumb is my favorite :)

So ya, not sure how I feel about it... also, I know the tape job isn't very good, but it was my first time :)
I think the thumb turned out the best. Also, if my nails were a 'lil but longer (like my thumb) I think it would have turned out better, what do you think??

Hi everyone :) Today I did my friends nails using For Audrey by China Glaze and this really awesome pattern from image plate M65. I think it turned out nice :) Also, just ignore the pinky... I don't know why it is so far away from the rest of the fingers :P

Winter Manicure

Hey everybody :) Today I did my friends nails using the same image as the last mani I posted (You can read that one here). This, I think, is the winter version, anyway, I really liked the way it turned out. Also, sorry about the bad picture, it is too wet to take the picture outside and I have really bad lighting in my room... here is what it looks like:

Again, sorry about the bad picture. Well, thats pretty much it for today, thanks so much for stopping by :)

Today I did my friends nails and this is what I came up with :)

You can see it's matte-ness :)

I really like this konadicure, I think it's cute :) I used my new image plate by the way, I also used my new matte topcoat, I love it very much. Well, that's pretty much it for today, thank you so much for stopping by(:

I also got a big bottle of Konad Black Pearl Special Polish (It was on sale, $5) and a new image plate (that was on sale too, $7)

Frosbite+Sparkle Topcoat

Today I decided to layer my sparkle topcoat by Fingerpaints over Frostbite:

ewwww, nasty fingers

nastier fingers, why do they look like this?!

Ignore my finger discoloration lol, I don't know why they look that :/

Can't decide if I like it or not, hmmm....... What do you think??

China Glaze Frostbite

Frostbite is about a shade darker in person
Frostbite is a about a shade darker in person

Frostbite is pure blue gorgeous-ness. It's a darker blue, but it is still so vibrant! It almost looks like your nails are glowing(: Personally, I really like this polish. The formula was ok.... a little runny, but nothing to bad, application was average and dry time was fast. Frostbite doesn't dry that shiny so (if you like shiny nails) be sure to add a topcoat. This is two coats(:

Sinful Colors: Let's Talk

Here are some swatch pictures of a polish that was a pain in the butt to photograph. I have some new photos and some old ones.

NEW:

OLD:

This was taken inside

Let's Talk is this amazingly gorgeous dark purple. It's kind of shimmery so that adds to it's beauty. If you look really close, you can almost see some fuchsia and blue (extremely tiny) shimmer/glitter. The formula on this was really nice and application was great. Dry time was average. My only caution to this polish, is that if you decide to stamp it, don't apply a topcoat after wards or else it will mutate the color of your stamp. Has this happened to any of you??

Do you wear purple often?? If so, what's your go to purple??

China Glaze For Audrey

Oh.My.Gosh, this is such a pretty blue, I can't stop looking at it!! For Audrey is a gorgeous Tiffany Blue (Is that supposed to be capitalized??) The formula was a 'lil on the thick side, so ya, I got away with one coat :) (I usually don't like thick polishes, but this one was ok... like... not SUPER thick... but just a 'lil thick... if that makes sense) The drying time just a little below regular (But that is probably because I only did 1 coat lol). Overall, this polish is absolutely stunning, and if you don't own it, you HAVE to go and get it, you won't regret :)

For Audrey with Konad M64

Sorry about the index finger lol, for some reason the stamper wasn't picking up the design :/ Anyway, yup, I like this one a lot, it's simple and I love the colors :) Well, that's it for today, thank you so much for stopping by, and if you haven't checked out my giveaway, be sure to take a look :) (link is in the corner of my blog, you can't miss it lol)

Swatch: Hello Kitty Red

Hey everybody!! So today I have a swatch of a red Hello Kittty polish:

When I tried this, I was really surprised that it dried matte!! What's really weird though is that it has a bumpy texture (do mattes usually have that??)... it looks like... a "frosted" plastic... for example, the bottom of a plastic container is "frosty" and the texture is kind of bumpy?? Well, ya, that is what this polish looks like. Anyways, I usually don't wear red just because I don't like the way it looks on me, so I was planning to see if it worked for stamping, just because it was opaque in 1 coat (but I still used 2 lol) I thought it would work for Konad stamping.

Anyways, that's it for today, thank you so much for stopping bye :)
